PARIS, June 12 (Reuters) – The Nîmes courthouse was cordoned off Friday morning by the police after the death of a man with a gun in the hall of the court of appeal, reports AFP.
Shots were heard inside the courthouse around 8:30 a.m. and a large police force was deployed near the court of appeal and the court, said Midi Libre.
Local police confirmed on Twitter that security operations were underway at the Nîmes courthouse, asking people to avoid the area.
