France is swirling, Germany is equal against Turkey, Spain is escaping against Portugal

Germany has not managed to win the friendly match against Turkey. Die Mannschaft drew 3-3 in Köln. The showdown between Spain and Portugal yielded no winner, while Italy made a strong impression against Moldova. France swirled past Ukraine.

France vs Ukraine 7-1
France has lashed out in the exhibition game with Ukraine, opponent of the Orange at the European Championship. Base debutant Edouard Camavinga and jubilee Olivier Giroud claimed the leading role at Les Bleus. The Chelsea striker played his 100th international match, was allowed to wear the captain’s armband in honor of that occasion, and scored twice very nicely. His counter therefore stands at 42 international goals, with which he passes Michel Platini and only has to tolerate Thierry Henry (51) in front of him.

Camavinga also shared in the revelry. The seventeen-year-old midfielder from Stade Rennes opened the score after nine minutes with a falling bicycle kick. Giroud’s two goals and his own goal made it 4-0 at half time. In the second half, France ran to a monster score via Corentin Tolisso, substitute Kylian Mbappé and Antoine Griezmann.

Germany – Turkey 3-3
National coach Joachim Löw gave a few young players the chance. This is how Florian Neuheus made his debut. On the stroke of half time, however, it was ‘veteran’ Julian Draxler who opened the score. The Paris Saint-Germain attacker took advantage of a build-up error. Five minutes after the break, the roles were reversed and Ozan Tufan hit very nicely: 1-1. Then Neuheus hit after a combination with Kai Havertz, who signed for his second assist.

Again, that lead did not last long. This time, Efecan fired in Karaca, after winning the ball. Germany, where Jonas Hofmann and Mahmoud Dahoud also made their debut, took the lead again via Luca Waldschmidt, but again the Turks fought back: Kenan Karaman struck in injury time.

Spain 0-0 Portugal
Spain was not in its strongest formation and Portugal made good use of it. The Portuguese had the best chances after the break, when both Cristiano Ronaldo and Renato Sanches hit the bar. However, there were no goals. On behalf of the Spaniards, Adama Traoré made his debut.

Italy – Moldova 6-0
The Italians won 0-1 last month against the Dutch national team in the Nations League and that line was effortlessly continued against Moldova. Coach Roberto Mancini’s team started without players such as Leonardo Bonucci, Jorginho and Ciro Immobile, but nevertheless registered a 6-0 victory. Moldova had to bow for the first time after eighteen minutes. Bryan Cristante passed Fortuna Sittard goalkeeper Alexei Koșelev with a header from a corner kick.

After that things went quickly for Italy. Francesco Caputo made it 2-0 and after half an hour Stephan El Shaarawy struck after a nice play. An own goal made it 4-0, after which El Shaarawy made it 5-0 before half time. In the second half, strong Italy slowed down. Only Domenico Berardi scored.
