France blocks the funds on the RT France TV channel, which is under EU sanctions. As a result, the media may cease to exist.

“All funds on the account were frozen at the request of the Main Department of the Ministry of Finance,” said the editor-in-chief of the TV channel Ksenia Fedorova.
Federova adds that this makes it impossible to continue working under the same conditions as before. The publication writes that the freezing of funds is related to the ninth package of sanctions of the EU against Russia.
“RT France will probably not be able to pay wages and salaries to subcontractors,” the paper said.
