FPÖ – Hofer: Black-Green wants to spend 30 (!) Million euros on self-marketing | Freedom Parliamentary Club

Abolish hacking regulation and instead start tendering for self-adulation is a scandal

Vienna (OTS) The black-green federal government has launched a tender for PR services. In order to ensure “strict joint communication between all ministries”, 30 million euros are to be spent. For FPÖ federal party chairman NAbg. Norbert Hofer is outrageous: “Austria has its back against the wall. In the economy, the government’s corona measures threaten a wave of bankruptcies, and black-green treats itself to a marketing offensive for a slim 30 million euros. This approach is also an affront to all those who are now looking through the fingers due to the abolition of the hacking regulation. The costs for this pension model are also 30 million euros this year. In contrast to the self-adulation tender, the money would be better used for hard-working people. “

One thing in particular worked in Austria during the Corona crisis: the black-green federal government’s own marketing. The Austrians had to endure more than 100 press conferences by government representatives, which often only served to announce the next press conferences. In each cabinet of ministers there are up to five press and marketing employees, many ministries also have contracts for additional PR services by external agencies – and now an additional 30 million euros are to be spent on the self-adulation of the government. Hofer: “This tender must be stopped immediately. The state currently needs every cent to cushion the consequences of the corona crisis, but certainly no additional expenditure for self-government praise. “
