jpnn.com, JAKARTA – Officers from Kodim 0501 JP / BS sprayed disinfectant at Headquarters REIT (Islamic Defenders Front), Jalan Petamburan, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, Friday (27/11).
The Islamic Defenders Army had refused to have its headquarters in Gang Paksi, Jalan Petamburan III, Tanah Abang spray disinfectant by officers from Kodim 0501 JP / BS.
“We all spray disinfectant liquid. This is a humanitarian mission, so everyone must get the same rights without exception,” said Dandim 0501 / Central Jakarta Colonel Inf Luqman Arief in Jakarta, Friday.
Colonel Luqman emphasized that there was nothing special about spraying disinfectants in the Petamburan area.
He said, initially TNI soldiers sprayed disinfectant around Jalan Petamburan III and there was no resistance from the residents.
Arriving at the alley of Habib Rizieq Shihab’s (HRS) house, members of the Islamic defense army dressed in ash stripes blocked the disinfectant spraying activity.
However, after discussing about 20 minutes, the spraying activity resumed.
Spraying can only be done on the sides of the alley without being allowed to spray the inside of Habib Rizieq Shihab’s house.
“These are all areas of the Republic of Indonesia (the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia). So, we don’t need a permit to spray disinfectant liquid,” he said.
