Found “extraterrestrial” being: – Scary

Since the first sci-fi films took us into outer space, we have been served an incredible amount of imaginative, fascinating and occasionally terrifying creatures.

But we don’t need to travel to other galaxies to find alien-like creatures.

Sometimes it is enough to take a look at what is hiding in the depths of the sea.

“Wrasses”

Roman Fedortsov works as a deep-sea fisherman on a trawler in Murmansk in the northwestern part of Russia. He spends several months of his life at sea, much to the delight of his more than 640,000 followers on Instagram.

Here he shares pictures of strange animals that are brought up from the depths.

Like, for example, a fish that looks like it has injected large amounts of silicone into its lips. Another is most reminiscent of a baby dragon.

But there is one in particular that has set fire to the comment section.

Shell and “tentacles”

In the video clip, we can see the creature sticking its body and tentacles out, almost like a tongue. It then retreats into its shell.

The creature is a crustacean that belongs to vine footings. The mildly strange appearance has ensured that the comments have flowed in.

– Scary, turn it off, someone comments.

– I had to be forced to eat it there, writes another.

– With lemon and chilli it must taste very good, suggests a follower.

Another simply comments:

– I should call her.

Toothy deep sea jaw

Among the other recent posts is a video of a monstrous creature with large eyes, a spotted body and large, sharp teeth.

The fish in question is one fleckstone bit. Here in Norway we have three species of catfish – gray catfish, spotted catfish and blue catfish. The first two are well suited for the dinner table.

What makes the catfish special, however, is the fact that it is equipped with two full sets of teeth.

– Dear friend, the teeth have teeth, writes one of the followers.

– Looks like it needs a trip to the dentist, jokes another.
