KOMPAS.com- A police officer on Riau with the rank of Kompol and with the initials IZ (55) was fired because he was involved in a circulation case drugs.
The former member of the Riau Regional Police’s General Criminal Investigation Directorate was arrested with 16 kilograms of methamphetamine evidence.

Called a traitor to the nation
The perpetrator is considered to have tarnished the good name of the National Police institution.
“We hope the jury will give a fair punishment to the traitors of this nation,” Agung said in a written statement received, Saturday (25/10/2020).
For this reason, IZ has been fired and will undergo legal proceedings.
“Yesterday maybe a member, but not today. That’s why I only mention names, but not ranks, because they don’t have ranks,” said Agung.
Suspect IZ and his colleagues were charged under Article 114 Paragraph (2) Jo Article 112 Paragraph (2) Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning narcotics with the threat of death penalty or imprisonment for a minimum of 5 years and a maximum of 20 years.

The arrests began when the police received information on drug transactions in Pekanbaru City.
Two of the perpetrators were already in the Opel Blazer car, namely unscrupulous people police officer IZ and his partner, HW, are entrepreneurs.
On Jalan Parit Indah, they received two bags from two motorbikes.
The two bags allegedly contained shabu-shabu.
