Former TSJ President Omar Mora died on July 24

The minister of the Nicolás Maduro regime, Jorge Arreaza, through his Twitter account, announced on July 24 the death of the former president of the Supreme Court of Justice, Omar Mora Díaz.

Mora, 71, was head of the TSJ between 2005 and 2007. Before that, he was the first vice president of the highest court.

The information was also disclosed by the Savings Bank of the Workers, Employees and Magistrates of the Supreme Court of Justice.

Mora graduated from the Central University of Venezuela (UCV) and specialized in Procedural Law. He was for several years a legal consultant to that university.
