Former Senator and Mayor of Târgu Jiu Florin Cârciumaru was arrested on Monday evening by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Gorj Court, writes Southern Gazette.
According to some judicial sources, the accusation is perjury in a case relating to a 2013 act, namely the washing of the Porta del Bacio with a jet of water.
The case has been filed multiple times, but has recently been reopened.
