Former Skullgirls developers open new studio Future Club

The former employees of Lab Zero Games, the studio behind Skullgirls, have founded a new development studio: Future Club.

Lab Zero Games owner Mike Zaimont was charged with sexual harassment and creating a toxic work environment earlier this year. After a number of employees left in protest, the rest of the team was fired by Zaimont himself.

The new studio, Future Club, must make all employees equally owners of the company. ‘We want this team to be rewarded for the effort they put into the game,’ designer Earl Gertwagen told Vice Games. It is not yet known what kind of project the team is working on.
