Former Senator Tomas Grulich has died

Former senator for Prague 12 Tomáš Grulich (ODS) died at the age of 69. Senator Tomáš Czernin (TOP 09) wrote it on Facebook today. Grulich served in the upper house of Parliament from 2006 to 2018, two years ago he no longer defended his mandate.

Grulich studied history and ethnology, in the 1970s he was a castellan at the castle in Klášterec nad Ohří, he worked in the Teplice Regional Museum, in 1982 he became an employee of the National Museum in Prague. He left it in 1992 and founded a publishing house, a year later a printing house, which he co-owned and managed until 2006. He continued to focus on history and ethnology, and since 1992 he has been lecturing at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. He has been a member of the ODS since 1992.
