Former New York Mayor exploits a guacamole machine and dies

U.S.- The former mayor of New York, Joseph Closet, died after a food processor, which was being tested to prepare guacamole, exploded in a laboratory in Test Solutions.

The deputy chief of Schenectady Fire Department, Don Mareno, reported that two other people were injured, for which they received medical attention. He also indicated that the machine was “a high pressure vessel.”

The 67-year-old businessman was Mayor of the city of Rensselaer in the 90’s and was the vice president of the Hudson Valley Community College Board of Trustees.

Through its social media account, the agency announced the death of Kapp and sent its condolences to the family.

His ‘legacy of service and accomplishments that greatly benefited Rensselaer County and the Capital Region’ were recognized by his former peers on the board of trustees.

He was humble with accomplishments around the world and a resume that had to be seen to be believed, ”said Board Chairman Neil Kelleher.

His work in the Hudson Valley helped make the university a shining star and we hope his work there will be remembered, ”he added.

Scott Briody, vice president of Innovate Solutions, told the Times Union that Joseph Kapp was a customer of the company and only made statements.
