Former Dinamo striker becomes Kunlun Red Star hockey player

Continental Hockey Leagues (KHL) club “Kunlun Red Star” in Beijing has signed agreements with four foreigners, including the former hockey player of Riga “Dinamo” Denijs Kristo, reports KHL press service.

The American striker represented the Latvian club in 2017/2018. in the season, when he excelled in 42 main tournament games with eight goals, 13 assists, six penalty minutes and a negative efficiency of -14.

He started the next season with the Swedish league club Brynas, from which he quickly moved to the Swiss championship team Rapperswil-Jona Lakers. Also 2019/2020. In the season, the American played in this team, accumulating 22 (11 + 11) performance points in 39 matches.

Andrej Schustr, Hunter Shinkaruk and Casey Welmen have also become Kunlun Red Star hockey players.
