Former CIA Leader Predicts Putin Will Be Killed by His Own Adviser

WASHINGTON – Former CIA station chief for Moscow, Daniel Hoffman, predicts the power of the Russian President Vladimir Putin just counting the days. He even believed that the Kremlin leader would be assassinated by his disgruntled advisers.

Hoffman delivered his predictions in an explosive interview with Daily Beast.

He said Kremlin advisers would brutally attack Putin when they became displeased with their personal position or about the development of the war in Ukraine.

“No one will ask, ‘Hey Vladimir, do you want to go?’ No. He was hit in the head with a hammer and he died. Or it’s time to go to the sanatorium,” Hoffman said.

“They fired him for that. That’s what they’re going to do,” he said.

He told reporters the publication’s national security publication Shannon Vavra that Putin’s rivals would give little warning before making a potentially bloody move.

“The people who will do it will be so secretive that Putin doesn’t find them and kill them first,” Hoffman said.
