Gyliano van Velzen is back on the Dutch fields after one year. The 26-year-old from Amsterdam has signed a contract in Velsen-Zuid and can call himself a Telstar player for the next two seasons.
Van Velzen has already had an adventurous career. As a youth player of Ajax he was scouted by Manchester United, later he played for FC Utrecht, FC Volendam, Roda JC and the English low-flyers Crawley Town and Aldershot Town. Trainer Andries Jonker is ‘very happy’, he tells the Telstar channels. “In addition to quality, we also gain a lot of experience with Gyliano.”
After putting his signature, the winger appeared in front of the camera with a big smile NH Sport. “Great, playing nice matches again. I’m looking forward to it”, said Van Velzen, who hopes to make his debut against MVV on Sunday evening. “I would describe myself as fit. I don’t know if I am fit enough, but I hope I will be there.”
