Don’t know what to do this weekend? Paris and its region are full of free festivals open to all. Here are some suggestions for outings.

Do you dream of spending an entire night in the woods? The Nights of the Forests invites you this weekend. This festival in the heart of nature offers a hundred free activities in many forest areas in the region. On the program: artistic tours, shows, vigils, wood pruning, awareness of the know-how of foresters, and wood professionals.

This festival aims to help people discover the forests that surround us in Île-de-France and their multiple functions, whether they are environmental, productive or recreational. One way to raise awareness of forestry issues.

Summer by the Canal

The essential meeting point in Seine-Saint-Denis: Summer on the Canal, and its river shuttles, returns for its 14th edition. The department’s media libraries also open their doors until mid-July for games, reading corners, digital workshops. L’Eté du canal also offers floating concerts on the Ourcq canal, not to mention the traditional guided discovery cruises: on street art or the history and uses of the canal.

Note, on July 24, an unprecedented performance by Nova Materia: “Sonic ecology” combines electronic sounds and rhythms from organic sounds such as stones, wood or water.
