Foreigners Still Record Net Buys of IDR 83 Billion When the JCI Slumped, These Are The Stocks That Purchased

KONTAN.CO.ID – JAKARTA. Composite Stock Price Index (IHSG) closed in the red in trading earlier this week. Citing data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) via RTI Business, the JCI closed down 48.35 points or 0.72% to a level of 6,645,048, Monday (17/1).

Pressure on the JCI occurred because 10 of the 11 sectors on the IDX closed in the red zone. The sector that fell the most was the technology sector which fell 4.27%, the raw goods sector fell 1.69%, the infrastructure sector fell 1.05%, the property and real estate sector fell 0.83%, and the non-primary raw goods sector fell. 0.70%.

Then other sectors that also fell were the health sector 0.51%, the financial sector 0.50%, the primary consumer goods sector 0.43%, the industrial sector 0.40% and the transportation sector 0.34%. Only the energy sector rose by 0.49%.

The total volume of stock trading on the IDX on Monday reached 16.65 billion with a transaction value of Rp 9.83 trillion. There were 340 stocks that fell, 203 stocks that gained and 137 stocks that were stagnant.

Foreign investors are still taking notes net buy of Rp 83.31 billion in all markets.

Foreign investors recorded the largest net buy in shares of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk (BBRI) of Rp 204.4 billion. BBRI shares rose 0.72% to Rp 4,210 per share. The total trading volume of BBRI shares reached 110.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 464 billion.

Shares of PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk (BBNI) is also widely collected by foreigners amounting to Rp 121 billion. BBNI shares also rose 1.41% to Rp 7,200 per share. The total trading volume of BBNI’s shares reached 48.5 million with a transaction value of Rp 347.1 billion.

Then foreigners are also hunting for shares of PT Adaro Energy Tbk (ADRO) of Rp 58.3 billion. ADRO shares closed down 0.44% to Rp 2,260 per share. The total trading volume of ADRO’s shares reached 120.6 million with a transaction value of Rp 273.7 billion.
