The British have a passion for cars that is deeply embedded in their DNA and they also sometimes deliver unique punches. They prove it once again with this very special version of the Ford Transit Connect, developed by MS-RT, a Welsh company specializing in the conversion and tuning of commercial vehicles. In this case, it offers a racing look inside and out, with four tailpipes and a unique look.
“MS-RT’s Transit Connect has already been a huge success and we developed the R120 in response to customer demand to offer something more personalized,” said MS-RT founder Edward Davies. “The special edition of the model will most likely sell out quickly and become an icon among fans of our brand.”

Only 36 units of this Transit Connect R120 will be built, all for UK customers. Unfortunately, the mechanics do not change, contrary to what you would expect with those four exhaust pipes. The 1.5 liter turbo diesel is stuck at 120 hp and can still be linked to a manual or automatic transmission, both with six gears.
The R120 can only be ordered in ‘Frozen White’ and will get red and black decals, white OZ Racing rally-look rims and that quadruple chimney that frames a thick diffuser. The whole body kit with side skirts and wide bumpers makes the Transit Connect look tougher. Inside you can choose between a 2-seater and a 3-seater configuration. The seats are covered with leather and have red stitching. Furthermore, the standard equipment of the Transit Connect is present, including a reversing camera, cruise control and Ford Pass Connect, without forgetting the inductive charger for smartphones.
The cavalry may not be much, but it can still put a smile on your face thanks to the Maxhaust exhaust line that is linked to an app to bring the sound of a sporty exhaust into the interior through the speakers, giving this van a soundtrack that matches its sporty appearance. Starting at £ 25,995 ($ 29,100), the R120 will keep its 3 year / 100,000 miles (160,900 km) factory warranty and can be personalized with options that will most likely blow the bill significantly.
