Created in 2007, this program aims to reveal and reward young talented researchers. In total, 300 young women have benefited from the endowment of the Young Talents France L’Oréal-UNESCO program For Women and Science.
This year, 35 grants will be awarded, of which at least 5 will be dedicated to researchers carrying out their research in the French overseas territories:
- in the amount of € 15,000 to each of the awarded doctoral students,
- in the amount of € 20,000 to each of the awarded post-docs.
Eligibility criteria
• Doctoral and post-doctoral students: of any nationality, working in a research laboratory or being registered
in a doctoral school in mainland France or overseas.
• For doctoral students: be at least in the 2nd year of their thesis.
• For post-docs: having defended their thesis less than 5 years ago.
• Disciplines: life and environmental sciences, material sciences, mathematics, computer science and
information sciences, engineering and technological sciences.
This year, the campaign will be digital only, so no paper poster will be sent by post.
