The offer has not yet been officially announced for Germany, but can already be used. Simply start the Apple TV app and start the desired series. Even if the buttons still claim that you can only watch one episode for free, the entire series can be viewed free of charge. Just scroll down and click the episode you want.
Apple TV + free: Exclusive series only
In contrast to Netflix, you can find Apple TV + or Amazon Video no extensive catalog of old classics. Similar to the Netflix Originals, there are only self-produced series at Apple. These can only be viewed exclusively on Apple TV +.
There are currently eight series and Films watch on Apple TV + for free. These include:
- Servant (drama series)
- For All Mankind (drama series about the race to the moon)
- Little America (comedy series about the lives of immigrants in America)
- Dickinson (series about the literary Emily Dickinson)
- The elephant mother (nature documentary)
- Helpsters (children’s series)
- Snoopy in space (children’s series)
- Four friends and the ghost hand (youth series)
No subscription needed
To watch the series on Apple TV + for free, you do not need a subscription, trial subscription or similar. A simple Apple ID, i.e. a user account is sufficient to view the series mentioned above free of charge. No payment information has to be stored, and nothing has to be booked and canceled.
