Bundesliga, 2. Liga and Premier League – Which channels broadcast?

For German football fans, there is a wide range of options for watching football on TV and in streams, both for national and international leagues. Both free and no-charge broadcasts are offered. Bundesliga games are mostly shown on the pay-TV channel Sky and the fee-based streaming portal DAZN. Sky also broadcasts most games in the 2nd Bundesliga and has the English Premier League and all DFB Cup games in its programme. The free TV station Sport 1 broadcasts the second division games on Saturday evening and the season opener and the two relegation games are shown on Sat.1.

Who shows the matches of the UEFA Champions League?

The UEFA Champions League games can only be seen on DAZN and Amazon Prime. DAZN also offers a broadcast of Series A and selected international leagues. There is also the option of watching live football games, either via the broadcaster’s website or via special streaming services such as DAZN. These usually offer subscriptions that give you access to all games broadcast for a set fee. The pay-TV channel Magenta TV, for example, had all the games of the soccer World Cup in its program. At the beginning of the second half of the season, Magenta TV will broadcast the matches of the 3rd division and the women’s Bundesliga as usual.

Football live on DAZN: DAZN app, DAZN1 and DAZN2

Customers who book DAZN via Sky can either use the DAZN app, which is available on almost all networked devices such as Sky Q, SmartTVs, smartphones or tablets, or the DAZN program on the two linear DAZN TV channels DAZN1 (slot 239) and DAZN2 (slot 240). They are available on all Sky receivers and in future also on Sky Glass. The two linear DAZN TV channels are available to all customers who have subscribed to the DAZN package via Sky.
