Patrick De Koster is suspected of money laundering, use of false documents and forgery. The football agent had been in jail for this since the end of August. It was the second time that his lawyers asked if he could leave the cell. He was blunt in front of the council chamber in early September.
But today the Chamber of Indictment (AI) of Brussels has decided that De Koster can still be temporarily released from prison, although he remains in pre-trial detention. The manager is placed under electronic supervision (read: he is given an ankle bracelet) and is not allowed to leave his home. He also remains in suspicion.
