Folk music artist Petrică Mâţu Stoian died of a Covid-19 infection at ATI Resita

Well-known folk music artist Petrică Mâțu Stoian, in serious condition at the ATI department at the hospital in Reşiţa, passed away on Saturday, at the age of 61, reports Antenna3.

Petrică Mâțu Stoian has been in post-Covid treatment for several days at a private clinic in Caraş-Severin. On Saturday morning, he began to feel very ill, being taken by an ambulance and transported urgently to the hospital in Resita, where doctors managed to stabilize him.

According to Antena3, he had post-COVID bronchopneumonia with septic status.

When she arrived at the hospital in Reșița, Petrică Mâțu Stoian was in a septic shock, which means that her organs were very affected and they gave way one by one. The artist was intubated because he could not stand an oxygen mask, and recently he died on the ATI ward in Resita.
