Folarin Balogun Chooses to Represent USA and earns first call up for June matches

Author of 20 goals in all competitions this season with the Stade de Reims, Folarin Balogun announced in mid-May his choice to defend the colors of the United States, in particular disappointed to have been snubbed by England during the rally in March.

The 21-year-old striker, on loan from Arsenal, was therefore called up for the first time with Team USA this Thursday for the June matches. Lille’s Swiss Army knife, Timothy Weah, is also on the list. The United States will play the CONCACAF Nations League semi-final against Mexico, followed by two Gold Cup matches.
