Focus on the work of Guillaume Nau, CIFRE doctoral student

Guillaume Nau arrived at Valtus at the end of 2019, and is carrying out research as part of a thesis on changes in career plans and new forms of employment, including in particular interim management. He participates in a digital conference during the annual congress of the AGRH, which is held on March 4 and 5, 2021.

At the heart of the excellence approach of Valtus, there is the desire to always stay one step ahead of changes in the interim management market. This implies being able to anticipate strong trends, weak signals and innovations in the world of work. In a context where the organization of companies and forms of work evolve more and more quickly, it is necessary to see far.

This is why Valtus has been welcoming for over a year Guillaume Nau, a CIFRE doctoral student at IAE Lille. The latter is carrying out research onevolution of career plans and new forms of employment as part of his thesis at theSESAM doctoral school (Economic and Social Sciences, Planning and Management). It analyzes more specifically the independent career, the organization linked to their status, the relationship they maintain with companies and with other forms of exercising professional skills. It regularly produces notes and studies on the economic environment, business organization and forms of work.

For Philippe Soullier, president of Valtus : « Guillaume’s work allows us to take height on issues relating to the evolution of working methods, and in particular to the development of the “independent” status which concerns us through interim managers. The outlook notes it produces are a new means of detecting developments and new societal trends upstream. And thus maintain our lead and our leadership position. This desire to anticipate, to think about tomorrow, through significant resources, distinguishes Valtus from its competitors and is one of the vectors by which the company maintains its lead and its leadership. »

The March 4 and 5, 2021, Guillaume participates in 31e AGRH annual congress, this year focused on the theme of inclusion in human resources management. He intervenes in particular to present the reasons for the career choices of interim managers, the changes that this implies, the perceived advantages, their experiences, etc.
