The interim prime minister Florin Cîțu was seen by journalists on Saturday, while talking to the AUR leader, George Simion, after submitting the list of ministers to the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate.

Asked by journalists if he negotiated with the Alliance for the Union of Romanians and if that is why he was talking to the party leader, Florin Cîțu denied any negotiations with AUR and said that he “met on the stairs” with Simion. During the statements, Cîțu emphasized once again that it was just a chance meeting.
