Florida supermarket owner believes coronavirus is a hoax | Univision 23 Miami WLTV

Alfie Oaks, the owner of the Oaks Farms -Seed to Table Market supermarket, has repeatedly said on his social media that the coronavirus is a hoax, and for this reason he does not force his business customers to wear a mask when they go Shopping. Your employees don’t have to either.

But while the attitude has made him national news and lost his contract with the Collier County School Board, his business is getting better every day and his loyal customers keep coming.

Although the county requires the mandatory use of a mask, Oaks sued this measure in court, but it dismissed the case.

“Our big victory is the judge saying that since his mask mandate was made illegally, it is unenforceable,” said Oaks.

And while some residents call this owner irresponsible, others say he is doing a great job of leaving people free to wear masks or not.
