“When you are in shape, there is a very, very small chance that you will end up in critical condition as a result of the consequences of the corona virus. I do not think it makes sense to close the fitness centers,” said Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida.
The decision is made by the governor, although there are more and more cases of people who have lived a healthy lifestyle and yet had a severe course of the disease. DeSantis also does not seem to consider that young and healthy people can carry and spread the virus without symptoms.
