Traffic from the Verkehrshaus into town is still normal, said Simon Kopp, media officer for the Lucerne police, early Monday afternoon. The situation is constantly being reassessed. At 3:15 p.m. there was plenty of water on Haldenstrasse.
Sections have already been blocked in the Brüelkreisel area. Since more rain is expected, more routes would be closed until evening.
Due to the flood in the city of Lucerne, course failures occur in the Würzenbach district, the VBL writes on Facebook. The route between Verkehrshaus / Lido and Brüelstrasse is interrupted. According to the VBL, lines 6 and 8 only go to Luzernerhof and turn there.
A shuttle bus runs between Brüelstrasse and Würzenbach / Büttenenhalde. Line 24 will be diverted between Verkehrshaus / Lido and Hotel Seeburg in both directions via Lidostrasse. This is expected to last until closing on Monday evening.
