Construction is underway, the flood protection wall is 100 percent complete, and quality control of the mobile dam and pump installation is currently underway. The pumps direct the water from the closed canals into the Danube.
Work is also underway in Kismaros, nearly 100,000 sandbags have been used so far, and the protection work is 70 percent complete. In addition to the water officials, 600 soldiers, firefighters and volunteers are helping to protect the area, according to the report to the Prime Minister.
