The pandemic has almost brought global air traffic to a standstill. Thousands of flights were canceled, millions of passengers remained on the ground.
According to applicable laws, passengers have the right to get the paid ticket price back if the flight was canceled by the airline. Numerous reports of those affected show that this is often not so easy in practice.
Ticketerstattungs-Monitor
The passenger rights portal Flightright has now launched the “Ticket Refund Monitor”. There you can see which airlines are willing to pay for reimbursements. Flightright claims to have received over 50,000 inquiries within less than 3 months.
The percentages in the bar graph show how much of the ticket complaints submitted by Flightright have been paid by the respective airline. The airlines are listed in descending order according to payment requests per calendar week. You can also filter the airlines by seat, either Germany, EU, UK or internationally.
