Brussels Minister of Mobility Elke Van den Brandt (Green) revealed her plans for the A12 earlier this week. In it, the highway will be transformed into a green city boulevard in which only one of the three lanes would remain in the city. In the vacant space, the region would build a green promenade with walking paths, a bicycle highway, a new tram line, a roller skating rink and trees.
