Yuan 5 Billion Investment to Bring Advanced⁤ Battery Anode Material Production to Gutian County

Gutian County,Fujian Province,is poised for ⁣significant economic growth following⁣ the announcement of a major investment by Guangdong Kaijin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd.‌ the company,a leading ‌global ⁤supplier of anode materials and a⁢ key supplier to ⁢CATL,will establish operations in Gutian County with a total investment of Yuan 5‍ billion.

The decision follows a productive business‌ delegation visit to Shenzhen, Dongguan, and Guangzhou⁢ from ⁣September 10-12.​ The Gutian County delegation inspected various enterprises, reviewed potential ‌projects, and⁤ engaged with local communities, including visits to Kaijin New Energy, Golden Garden ⁣Amusement, Huawei’s Songshan Lake European Town, and the⁤ Guangzhou Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.

Project Details & Economic Impact

The new facility will boast‍ an annual production capacity of 200,000 tonnes of high-performance lithium-ion battery anode materials. Projected annual ​output value is estimated at⁤ yuan​ 6 billion,‍ with an anticipated tax revenue ‍contribution of Yuan 360 million to Gutian County.

construction of the first phase of the project is scheduled to begin after a signing ceremony at the World Energy Storage Conference. The company aims‌ to complete construction and commence full production by June of next year.

This investment underscores the growing demand for advanced battery ⁣materials and positions Gutian County ⁢as a ⁤key player in the burgeoning electric vehicle supply chain.
