An avalanche broke out in the Dachstein Mountains in Austria on Sunday morning and killed five people.

The five snowshoe hikers were out and about in the Dachstein Mountains when the avalanche broke off at around 8:30 a.m. not far from the Seethaler Hut at an altitude of 2,800 meters. The five hikers were buried by her and died immediately.
