“Five regionals held me, and the sixth beat me from above.” Doniy told how the Kharkiv agreements were ratified

During the voting for the ratification of the Kharkiv agreements in 2010, there were massive falsifications, some deputies were offered $ 1-3 million for their votes, said Oles Doniy, ex-People’s Deputy of OU-NS.

Ex-People’s Deputy from the Our Ukraine – People’s Self-Defense bloc Oles Doniy said that the results of voting for the Kharkiv agreements on April 27, 2010 were massively falsified. He told about this to the publication “Censor. NO”.

Doniy noted that according to the Constitution, MPs cannot be legally responsible for voting, but in this case, according to him, there was no free expression of will.

“There was a massive falsification – voting with someone else’s cards, to which there are many witnesses. Those who did not vote with their own hands are now interested in confirming this,” the ex-people’s deputy stressed.

According to him, for cards, deputies were offered from $ 1 million to $3 million. “If it is proved that in the process of organizing the mass falsification money of Russian origin was attracted, then this is a direct fact of high treason, “Doniy said.

According to the People’s Deputy, the Party of Regions had planned in advance the massive violence in parliament, as a result of which a number of deputies received severe bodily injuries. Have the regionals did not have the required 226 votes, but they bought the votes of 16 deputies from the opposition and took their cards. These people did not come to their workplaces, and someone had to vote with their cards.

“Therefore, the militants of the Party of Regions had to go to these jobs, push back those who were nearby, demolish, as unnecessary, and vote. Since I was the first in the row, I immediately got on the“ line of fire ”… On the morning of that day, I had back surgery. She was covered with seams. I could even move weakly. During the fight in the session hall I was held by five regionals, and the sixth (People’s Deputy Vasily Stelmashenko) struck from above. I didn’t even really brush it off, “he said.

After this sitting of parliament, he spent two months in the hospital with a severe concussion.

According to Doniy, after the decision of the NSDC, he still was not summoned for interrogation under the Kharkov agreements as a witness, but he is ready to provide all the necessary information.

On his Facebook page, the ex-people’s deputy notedI am almost sure that this case will not be fully investigated. In his opinion, those events were largely coordinated between the authorities and the leadership of the then opposition.

“The leadership of the opposition did not want to bring my beating up to a lawsuit. They just turned me in. And I suspect that not only me. Or do you think that the guards [тогдашнего спикера Верховной Рады Владимира] Lytvyn went to the session hall with umbrellas every day? “Doniy wrote.

March 11 National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine instructed the Security Service of Ukraine to check the circumstances ratification of the Kharkiv agreements. SBU opened criminal proceedings under the article on treason.

According to Art. 80 of the Constitution Of Ukraine, people’s deputies are not legally responsible for the results of voting or statements in parliament and its bodies, with the exception of liability for insult or defamation.

The former head of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine Stanislav Shevchuk, after the announcement of the NSDC’s decision on the Kharkiv agreements, recalled this norm. He explained that if this or that parliamentarian, for example, was guided by the opinion that “a discount on gas is good for the people of Ukraine,” then because of this, criminal liability for him cannot come.

The Kharkiv agreements in 2010 were signed by the then presidents of Ukraine and Russia, Viktor Yanukovych and Dmitry Medvedev. The ratification of the Kharkiv agreements on April 27, 2010 was accompanied by a fight in parliament, smoke bombs and throwing eggs at the presidium. In January 2021, to Yanukovych, the State Bureau of Investigations due to the signing of the document reported suspicion of treason.

According to the agreements, Ukraine received a 30% discount on gas in exchange for prolonging the stay of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Ukraine from 2017 to 2042. As the RRB explained, there was virtually no discount, since Russia had doubled the price of gas a year earlier. By signing the agreement under the pretext of obtaining a discount on gas, Yanukovych artificially created the prerequisites for an increase in the number of Russian troops and the conditions for their stay in Ukraine, the Office of the Prosecutor General emphasized.

Russia occupied Crimea after illegal referendum on March 16, 2014… The annexation of the peninsula to the Russian Federation is not recognized by Ukraine and most countries of the world. At the moment, there is a checkpoint regime between mainland Ukraine and Crimea, and Kiev de facto does not control the peninsula.

After the occupation of Crimea, the Russian Federation denounced the Kharkov agreements.
