Five injured after a violent crash in Berlin-Treptow

On Wednesday evening there was a violent crash in the Baumschulenweg district of Treptow when an Audi driver apparently drove his car into oncoming traffic.

At around 7:30 p.m., the Audi on Neue Späthstraße, coming from the freeway entrance, apparently got into the oncoming lane and crashed into a Mercedes.

As a result, a VW Polo and a Jaguar SUV also drove into the scene of the accident.

According to initial information, five people were injured, apparently including two children. The injured were treated on site by emergency doctors and paramedics and then transported to nearby hospitals.

The cause of the accident is still unclear, a blood test was ordered from the person who caused the accident. Neue Späthstraße was completely closed for several hours.
