About the film adaptation of Borderlands has not been heard for a long time, but the British newspaper Daily Mail recently published photos from filming.
In the photo you can see actress Cate Blanchett in the image of Lilith. Her image differs from the game clothes – the game Lilith’s outfit was more frank, but in general, it seems that it was possible to convey the spirit of the character. Blanchett also has red hair.

The film was shot by Tim Miller, the director of the first “Deadpool”, and the main director is Eli Roth.
The plot tells about the criminal Lilith, who returns to her home planet Pandora to find the missing daughter of Atlas – the most powerful man in the galaxy. There, she forms an alliance with a team of mercenaries that includes familiar characters from the Borderlands series.
Along with Blanchett, Kevin Hart (Roland), Jamie Lee Curtis (Tannis), Ariana Greenblatt (Little Tina), Florian Munteanu (Krieg) and Gina Gershon (Moxxie) played in the film. Claptrap was voiced by Jack Black.
There is no release date for the film adaptation of Borderlands.
