“Inspiration 4” is the first mission in Earth orbit without a professional astronaut on board.

As part of the three-day mission, the crew will orbit the Earth in the “Dragon” capsule of “SpaceX”. It is scheduled to take off from NASA’s space center in Florida on September 15.
The privately funded mission will raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Elon Musk’s company has announced several private missions over the past few years, including a deal with Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa to fly the Starship rocket on a trip around the moon in 2023.
