Several tunnels were closed on Wednesday on the E134 in the direction of Drammen, after a fire in a truck in the Merraskot tunnel. Night to Thursday, most are open again.
Vegtrafikksentralen reports on Thursday night that the Merraskot tunnel will be closed for a longer period due to the damage in the tunnel.
Both the Frogn and Vassum tunnels and the Oslofjord tunnel were closed in the direction of Drammen, but at one o’clock on Thursday night all the tunnels are open again.
It was a truck that started to burn, but the fire brigade quickly gained control of the fire.
In an update on Twitter wrote the police that the fire in the truck has been extinguished, and that the tunnel has been searched without the discovery of people or several damaged vehicles.
Detour on E134 eastbound is signposted through Sætre.
