The firefighters intervened this Monday evening in the town of Saint-Genis-Laval.

Shortly after 9 p.m., a fire broke out in a Traveler camp located on Chemin de la Mouche. According to our information, two caravans and a car were reduced to ashes before the firefighters brought the disaster under control. No injuries are reported. The cause of the disaster remains unknown at this time. The intervention ended around 11 p.m.

According Progress, a violent fight had broken out earlier in the afternoon in the same camp of Travelers. After the theft of a scooter in a business in Pierre-Bénite, the victim tried to recover his property in the squatted area. But the latter would have been hit by three people. The injured individual was taken to hospital. Three alleged attackers were arrested and taken into custody.
