C‘is a neighbor who alerted the emergency services to 911 at around 10:15 p.m. Saturday after smoke billowing from the roof at the back of the building on Scott Street in the borough of La Cité-Limoilou.
When firefighters arrived, the flames quickly spread to the three-story heritage building, attached to neighboring buildings. All their residents were evacuated during the firefighters’ intervention which required a third alarm.
