Gold prices stabilized in the local market, during trading today, Sunday, at the same levels yesterday.
The Club Naguib Secretary, General of the Gold Division at the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, told Masrawy that the price of a 21-gram gold price today was 691 pounds, which is the same price as yesterday.
The price of a gram of 18 carat gold was about 592.2 pounds, and 24 carats of about 789.7 pounds, and the price of a gold pound was about 5528 pounds.
Najib attributed the stability of gold prices, to the unchanged price of the metal globally, as a result of the closure of global stock exchanges today, which is the second day of the weekend for those exchanges.
