AMF and AEFR Host Conference on Technological Frontiers in Finance – Video Recordings Available
On September 25, 2025, the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and the Association Européenne des Fonds et des Investissements (AEFR) co-hosted a conference dedicated to the evolving technological landscape of the financial sector. The event focused on both the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence, as well as the critical areas of quantum computing and cyber resilience.
The conference featured a series of presentations and discussions,all delivered in English,now available for viewing. Keynote speeches were given by Marie-Anne Barbat-layani, President of the AMF, Alessandro Curioni, IBM Fellow, Vice President, Europe and Africa and Director of IBM Research – Zurich, Jean-Paul Servais, president of the OICV, and Pervenche Berès, president of the AEFR.
Discussions included a roundtable exploring the “Opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in the financial sector” (Table ronde 1), a fireside chat between securities markets regulators on the same topic, a roundtable dedicated to “Quantum computing and cyber resilience in the financial sector: preparedness and risk monitoring” (Table ronde 2), and a second fireside chat between securities markets regulators focusing on quantum computing and cyber resilience.
