The full-time position with 39 hours per week is initially to be filled for a limited period until October 31, 2021. If the person-related and job-related collective bargaining requirements are met, they are classified in pay group 9b TVöD.

The School Education Department carries out development education programs for children and young people in Germany in order to raise their awareness of One World issues. For this purpose, projects are also carried out and funded that are aimed at teachers and educational officers. The school competition on development policy is held every two years and is aimed at pupils of all grades and school types. With the school competition and its accompanying measure, children and young people are encouraged to creatively deal with topics from One World.

Your tasks:

• Financial planning, controlling and resource management for a group of the department
• Financial cost monitoring for project financing
• Preparation and conclusion of cooperation and forwarding agreements
• administrative handling, preparation and implementation of tenders according to UVgO, GWB and VgV
• Preparation and conclusion of fee contracts
• Agreements with donors and partners on financial issues and contracts
• Creation of financial overviews, profitability calculations and similar documents

Your profile:

• Completed university degree (bachelor level) or comparable experience and knowledge
• extensive experience in financial planning, financial monitoring and the management of public funds (BHO, ANBest-P, UVgO, BRKG)
• extensive IT and MS Office knowledge
• Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as organizational skills and an efficient, independent and conscientious way of working
