DARMSTADT – Her time with the Kelly Family was a long time ago, but the audience still associates great musicality and enthusiasm with the name: Patricia Kelly, pop star with a solo career, will be a guest on Saturday, August 6th, at the Mathildenhöhe. Those who want to experience their performance on the open-air stage can still get tickets, as the organizers of the Darmstadt Residence Festival have announced.

The former street musician has been writing her own songs for years alongside her performances with her extended family who play music. In Darmstadt she and her band will present the songs from their current album “Unbreakable”. Everything from 8.30 p.m. on the Mathildenhöhe, admission 7.30 p.m.

There are also remaining tickets for the Italian Opera Night on Sunday, August 7th, 8:30 p.m. at the same location. The festival traditionally ends with this evening of popular classics. The concert program is characterized by euphony: “well-known arias, ensembles, choirs and overtures from the Italian bel canto” are promised, according to the announcement. There are soloists, the Darmstadt Concert Choir and the Main Philharmonic under the direction of Wolfgang Seeliger. Tickets are available online or at the box office.
