Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, surprises on the way? Square Enix registers new brands

Between 17 and 22 December last year, the representatives of Square Enix have registered several brands that suggest the arrival of important news concerning the highly anticipated Final Fantasy 7 Remake Parte 2.

Among the trademarks registered in Japan by Square Enix we find in fact “Ever Crisis”, “The First Soldier” e “Shinra Electric Power Company”. As rightly pointed out by the Gematsu editors, the first patent recalls the name of the 2004 mobile game Before Crisis Final Fantasy VII, not to mention Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII launched on PSP in 2007.

No less interesting are the considerations to be made on “The First Soldier”, whose most logical reference seems to be that of Sephiroth, the antagonist of Cloud Strife and the main villain of the FFVII series.

As for “Shinra Electric Power Company”, the new trademark registered by Square Enix does nothing but recall the homonymous organization Midgar, and therefore the hope for the arrival of important updates on the development of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 by the Japanese authors.

At the end of 2020, on the other hand, Asuka Yoshikawa, the actress who plays Aerith, interacted with her followers on Twitter without hiding the fatigue from them 4 hours of Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2 footage performed alongside Sephiroth’s mocap actor.
