The artist died in mysterious circumstances in London, leaving behind a long and unforgettable history.

The beginning of the Iraqi movie, Al-Qadisiyah in 1981, which narrates in a historical form the facts of the battle of Al-Qadisiyah, which enabled Muslims to conquer Persia in 636 AD in order to spread Islam, which was led by (Saad bin Abi Waqas), after the death of (Muthanna bin Harithah al-Shaibani) The commander of the Islamic armies during the reign of the caliph (Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq), where an army of 30 thousand warriors is formed in order to confront the armies of the Persians.

The film was written by Mahfouz Abdel Rahman, directed by Salah Abu Saif, and co-starred with Egypt, Ezzat Al-Alayli and Layla Taher.

The artist, Ezzat Al-Alayli, later, in press reports, said that he was involved in a propaganda film, pioneering the war on Iran, and that he regretted participating in this film, and if time had returned, he would not have participated in it.

The great critic, Tariq Al-Shennawi, told Masrawy that Saddam Hussein had his eyes on the cinema, and this is shown, for example, in preparing the ground for his war with Iran, which is evident in the film tape, which was written in a propaganda way away from the cinema.

Al Qadisiyah movie

The next movie was the Moroccan film “Afghanistan Why” in 1984, in which Souad Hosni embodied the role of an Afghani girl, and it deals with the story of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan and the Afghan people’s struggle against them.
