Film associations with suggestions for safe shooting

In order to be able to shoot safely in times of the corona pandemic, local film associations have developed guidelines for fictional cinema and television productions. The paper from Film Austria, the Producer Association AAFP and the Association of the Film and Music Industry (FAMA) has already been presented to the Ministry of Health, it said in a broadcast.

“This finally created a framework that would enable safe shooting even in times of the pandemic,” said FAMA chairman Danny Krausz. As the “next push” of the film associations, the demand for a “federal default guarantee for insurance including the Covid 19 risk” was announced. In this regard, one is already in “constructive negotiations”.

The working concept for filming in corona times comprises a 3-zone model, with the “Closed Set” in Zone 1 comprising directing, camera and actors from a “protected, reliably negatively tested pool”. In general, the company premises may only be entered with mouth-nose protection and with a distance of one meter from other people. In addition, a “permanent hygiene station” should be set up. Detailed guidelines were drawn up for each zone. The film associations were supported by environmental physician Hans-Peter Hutter. (apa)
