Liverpool are seeking to bolster the team’s defense by including Napoli defender Calido Coulibaly in a race between Real Madrid and Manchester United.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli is ready to look at the offers of the Senegalese defender.

The report pointed out that Naples will not look at a price of less than 100 million euros, which is less than the club requested last season for 120 million euros.

The newspaper pointed out that Liverpool is the most prominent candidate to join the Senegalese defender if he leaves Napoli.

La Gazzetta dello Sport revealed that Diane Leuven had entered as part of the deal, which would be a motivation for Napole instead of looking for a contract with another defender.

Coulibaly will be 29 years old next June, and he is linked to a contract with Naples until 2023, but there is no penalty clause if he leaves his contract with Naples.

Naples had supported its ranks with the Senegalese defender from the Belgian League in 2014 for 7.5 million euros.
