Mohamed Sabry told the story of his choice of Mustafa Fathi to join Al-Zamalek club.
“I saw Mustafa Fathi in a Ramadan session while he was in Belqas. I said, I was astonished by his level and I said to myself (this is the effect of fasting, or what!)”, Mohamed Sabry said in statements to On Time Sports channel.
“I have a team for Nibrooh, and then we played a friendly match against Zamalek. After only 10 minutes they were convinced to sign him,” he added.
Sabri completed “with what I saw of Mustafa Fathi with Nabruh during a month and a half I was training him in them. Mustafa Fathi did not offer half of his capabilities with Zamalek yet.”
Mustafa Fathi joined Zamalek Club in 2013 from Nabruh at the age of 18, and moved to Saudi cooperation on loan for a season in 2017/2018.
The 25-year-old won 6 tournaments. Egyptian League championship, three Egypt Cup tournaments, the Egyptian Super Cup and the African Confederation Cup once.
Mostafa Fathi participated in this season in 12 games only after returning from injury.
